These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Herk's Plumbing website located at herksplumbing.com and your engagement of plumbing services provided by Herk's Plumbing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Herk's Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services in Modesto, California and surrounding areas, including but not limited to drain cleaning, water heater service, pipe repair, fixture installation, and bathroom remodeling. We are licensed by the California Contractors State License Board under License #988077.
We offer free in-home estimates for non-emergency plumbing work. Estimates are provided in good faith based on the conditions observed at the time of assessment. Actual costs may vary if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the work.
Emergency and after-hours services may be subject to additional charges. These charges will be disclosed to you before work begins.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless a payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
We stand behind our work. All labor performed by Herk's Plumbing is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of service, unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty does not cover:

For non-emergency appointments, please provide at least two (2) hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in a service call fee being required at the time of booking.
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Herk's Plumbing's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, deferred maintenance, or conditions that were not visible or accessible at the time of service.
